LESSON MATERIAL FOR JANUARY 12, 2014

WOW Ladies, many of you were unable to attend this past Sunday because of the inclement weather. A few of us braved the cold temperatures and were in attendance. The forecast for Sunday, January 12, is warmer temperatures so I hope that all will be able to attend.

Lesson Material: Step 3: The Christian and the Holy Spirit which begins on page 127. The topics in this step include: 1. Who is the Holy Spirit and Why did He come; 2. The Holy Spirit's Relationship With You; 3. Why so few Christians Are Filled with the Holy Spirit; 4. How You Can Be Filled With the Holy Spirit; 5. How You Can Know When You Are Filled With the Holy Spirit; 6. How You Can Continue to Be Filled With the Holy Spirit.

This is going to be an awesome study, so get started this week with your search of the scripture on the doctrine of  the Holy Spirit. The first Sunday, January 12, of this study we will discuss Lesson 1.

Memory Verse: John 16:13-14: "But when he, the spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all truth. For he will not speak on his own authority, but will speak whatever he hears, and will tell you what is to come. He will glorify me, because he will receive from me what is mine and I will tell it to you." NET
